Well, last week I gave up on Riven Rock. It was just like reading random words, and you couldn't follow it. Recently there have been alot of commercials for the movie Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. I really thought that it would be a interesting movie, and while doing my librarian duties, I found the book. I automatically checked it out and started reading the first chapter.
The first page so far is my favorite page. Usually in a book, the first page it maybe really boring compared to the rest of the book, but then its interesting enough to keep the reader reading. The main character I believe is the little boy, and he talks about how he wants to teach his anus to talk when he farts. I think that the little boy, will be like the symbol of hope in the story. He sounds positive, and I think he's gonna be like the character that inspires others.
Otherwise, so far this book is pretty good. I've been wanting to read a book that really has a deeper meaning.
